Work & case studies.

Selected projects across branding, websites, publishing, and community-led platforms.

We work with clients who care about clarity, cohesion, and longevity - from local organisations to creators building worlds, products, and communities. Here we highlight a small selection of client projects that reflect how we think, how we work, and the kinds of challenges we are most often brought in to solve.

Tabletop Legends

Community brand & membership platform

The challenge
A new tabletop gaming club needed a clear identity, advertising materials and a digital home that could support membership, events, and long-term community growth - without tipping into something that felt corporate, generic, or disposable. They needed to look credible to newcomers while still feeling like it has belonged in the community from the get-go.

What we did

  • Developed a brand identity and tone of voice rooted in community, not marketing

  • Designed and structured a website to support e-commerce, event advertising and membership sign up

  • Created game adverts to highlight what is on offer at specific events

  • Produced count down social media moments building antisipation leading up to launch

  • Rolled out social campaign hitting key points, news and announcements

  • Designed club merchandise and launched online store

  • Established ongoing D&D campaign branding for the group

  • Produced physical advertising materials with QR codes linking to event page on website

The result
A recognisable, flexible brand and platform that supports the club as it grows - clear enough to invite new members in, but grounded enough to feel authentic to its existing community.

"Narrative Creative Studios...was able to create our iconic branding and distinctive artwork style, build a website for us, set up a merchandising range, and social media presence from our very first day! Chris is definitely my go-to guy for any project like this from now on!"

Justin Cresswell-Beer, Tabletop Legends Club Secretary

The challenge
Author Andi Ewington need a brand home for his universe Bones & Betrayals. The launch of  his latest release Silence of the Dead with co-author Erica Marks was the perfect time to showcase the book and the over all brand with a heavily themed online presence.

What we did

  • Designed and built a thematic, fun web presence for the brand

  • Illustrated key characters for biography pages

  • Produced unified messaging creative for overall brand collection

  • Used subtle motion graphics to bring elements to life

The result
A unique and deeply thematic online hub for the Bones and Betrayals universe, with a blog for author updates, keeping fans in the loop with details on future instalments.

"Amazing service! Narrative Creative Studios were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Creative, patient, professional, and willing to go beyond the brief to deliver a superb website - thank you so much!"

Elizabeth Shane

Brand identity, online home for author's publications and book cover design & layout

The challenge
A local poet and author, Elizabeth Shane, needed a brand identity and an online presence for her work. As the project developed it was acknowledged that the creative for her book covers also needed some attention. After working on two covers we had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth again on her latest publication where we assisted with editorial page layout as well.

What we did

  • Developed a simple brand identity using meaningful iconogorapgy,

  • Designed and build a website to act as a hub for her world and projects.

  • Created a range of book covers that captured the essence of each book.

The result
A home for Elizabeth's work and the start of a consistent range of book covers that represent her brand and her passion.

"From the very beginning, Chris demonstrated professionalism, creativity and a strong attention to detail, delivering with speed and accuracy, producing a modern design that ensured my book looked polished and professional."

Next Steps

If you’re working on something - whether that’s a brand, a website, a publishing project, or a community-led platform - and want to talk through how it might take shape, I’d be happy to have a conversation.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a chance to explore what you’re building and how I might be able to help.
