Introducing Tabletop Realms: Expanding Stories Beyond the Screen

At Narrative Creative Studios, everything we do starts with the same idea:stories matter.

For years, we’ve helped businesses shape their identity, build their presence, and communicate clearly through design, websites, and content. But at the heart of it, our work has always been about something deeper — creating experiences that people connect with.

Tabletop Realms is a natural extension of that philosophy.

It’s where storytelling moves off the screen and into the real world.

What is Tabletop Realms?

Tabletop Realms is a new division of Narrative Creative Studios focused on creating shared, in-person experiences through tabletop gaming.

Not just games for the sake of games - but curated experiences designed to bring people together, spark conversation, and create moments that stick.

Because in a world where so much is digital, there’s something powerful about sitting around a table, learning something new, and sharing it with others.

Whether it’s community events, private bookings, or structured team experiences, Tabletop Realms is built around one simple idea: connection through play.

Our First Community Event: Ware Town Council

On the 18th of April, Tabletop Realms will be delivering its first official community event in partnership with Ware Town Council. You can see the event on the councils event page here.

This will be a free event for Ware residents - a modern board games experience designed to introduce people to a side of tabletop gaming they may not have seen before.

We’ll be running a selection of accessible, engaging games including:

  • Ticket to Ride

  • Horrified

  • Pandemic

  • Dominion

  • Azul

For many people, board games still mean Monopoly or Scrabble. This event is about changing that perception.

We’ll be there to guide players, teach the rules, and make sure everyone — whether completely new or already curious - feels welcome at the table.

Some of the modern board games we are hosting at Ware Gamers in April.

Why This Matters

Community spaces are evolving. Local councils are looking for ways to bring people together, encourage social interaction, and create inclusive activities that appeal across generations. Tabletop gaming does exactly that.

It’s collaborative. It’s creative. It builds confidence, communication, and connection — all without screens. And most importantly, it gives people a reason to sit down, talk, and share an experience.

Looking Ahead

Tabletop Realms is just getting started.

Alongside community events like Ware, we’re developing a wider range of experiences including:

  • Private tabletop events

  • Corporate team-building sessions

  • Structured roleplaying experiences focused on collaboration and leadership

  • Therapeutic and wellbeing-focused gaming sessions in partnership with specialists

Each one built with the same care, structure, and creative thinking that defines Narrative Creative Studios.

Work With Us

We’re now opening conversations with local councils and organisations interested in bringing tabletop experiences into their communities.

If you’re looking for something different - something that genuinely brings people together - we’d love to talk.
