Creating a New Games Club: The Story of Tabletop Legends

Inspired by our work with East Herts Gamers and their Charity Games Day, we teamed up with a passionate group of gamers in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Together, we created a brand new games club, and thus Tabletop Legends was born!
Our Passion for Storytelling
Storytelling is a passion of ours. At Narrative Creative Studios, we were thrilled to develop a club identity, branded materials, and an e-commerce website. This website allows for member subscriptions and promotes the club through a range of social ads—all free of charge.

Spreading the Word
To help get the word out, we designed and printed flyers. We distributed them around local shops in town. The warrior design featured on the flyers would later appear on club merchandise, along with a variety of other characters.
Crafting a Promo Video
To build excitement, we produced a promo video. With a zero budget, we crafted this using stock video, AI-generated images, and a lengthy prompting process to animate those images. The editing was the easy part, done by human hands. The video captured the essence and tone of the group and was shared across social channels.
Engaging Through Social Media
On the static front, we developed a range of social ads. These ads not only communicated key information but also showcased the diverse genres the club aimed to represent. From fantasy and sci-fi to gothic horror, we covered it all.
Building Anticipation for the First Event
We drilled down to specifics, advertising the games we were hosting at the first event. This helped drive anticipation and sparked conversations online.
Support from Local Businesses
Even before its first official event on 29th November 2026, the club has enjoyed support from various businesses. These businesses generously offered discounts to the club's founding members. We created social post alerts for every single sponsor.
We continue to support the club by developing a range of merchandise. This allows club members to proudly display their colours, showing the world that they truly are Legends!

Conclusion
Creating Tabletop Legends has been an exciting journey. We’ve seen the power of community and creativity come together. As we continue to support the club, we look forward to seeing how it grows and evolves. After all, every legend starts with a story.
